Private house – Finished early 2008
Single-family house south of Malmö, Sweden. The building site borders a water filled lime quarry that offers dramatic views over what has become a lake. The entrance side is facing a road with some traffic and is hence a rather closed volume. The part of the building facing the lake is more open, through the generous windows the inside of the house integrates with the surroundings. Most of the interior fittings and furniture are special designed for the house in question.

Is a range of products that transform the image of a simple cork bottle stopper. The principle of PLUG. The work is around the connection between glass as a hard and compact material and the cork, perfect porous material.The glass parts were done using free glass blowing. The cork parts were made out of the sheets of agglomerated cork which were milled using CNC. The corks parts used the marks from the CNC milling tool as a part of theirs construction. The idea is to build 3D objects by milling using 2D drawings. The objects function are simple. Side table, lamps, boxes, bowls. The idea was to put more attention on the connection between glass and the cork.

The time is displayed as text in five minute intervals. If you need to have a more exact time, look in the corner at the illuminated dots. QLOCKTWO has a brightness sensor; with its help the illuminating power of the letters is automatically adjusted.

Among architect Andrew Maynard’s proudest work is his CV08, the suburb-eating robot. It’s a conceptual structure designed to consume and recycle the Australian outer suburbs – predicted to be abandoned and decay with the demise of cars as the world runs out of oil – before the robot terra-forms the earth with native flora and fauna. While much of his work packs a socio-political or environmental statement, the Melbourne-based architect eschews the label ‘green’, given its commercialisation in recent times. For Maynard Architects, being green is simply intrinsic to good design.
The Vader House is an extension to a Victorian terrace in the dense inner-city. The high boundary walls, built in disregard of existing height regulations long before such rules were created, permitted a non-standard height along the northern boundary. The roofline then abruptly turns to follow the dictated set-back lines, resulting in a playful and telling interpretation of planning rules.

Chiara Moreschi (Savona 1981), graduates in Industrial Design at the Milan Politecnico Design school in 2005, collaborates with Giulio Iacchetti and Matteo Ragni untill 2008 when she opens his own design studio.
She has the chance to partecipate to some competitions and workshops foR company as Eurochocolate, Ballarini, Domus Academy, Vindesign 2006-2007, Il Profumo dell’Oro, Mini Design Award.
She supports Matteo Ragni in design teaching activity at Milan Politecnico Design school, Naba, Domus Academy and Academie Libanaise des Beux-arts di Beirut.
Among her designs, Aetos, bottle mat and flower vase, realised in steel for Magppie, Albisola, ceramic mug for Mesa, Twink, suspension lamp for P&V Lighting.
She realised the graphic for some catalogues and events as Coop Eureka, IB Rubinetterie, 4Terzi.
Actually she collaborates with P&V lighting,StreetFoodMobile, Pinetti, Magppie, Outlook Zelco, Il Coccio.
