October was a busy month for those opposed to the death penalty. The fight is never over until that penalty is abolished altogether, so the activists took to the streets. And there's a project on Amazee to keep everybody active and informed.
Scott Cobbs
Abolish The Death Penalty project is one of the most active on Amazee, although it still has very little members (why don't you join today, if you are against it?). Scott keeps us informed about the World Day against the Death Penalty, which took place on 10 October. He has continuously updated information on the case of Troy Davis, who is awaiting execution although he has never been proven guilty in a manner allowing no more doubts.
Just a couple of days ago, on 26 October, there was a march against the death penalty in Austin, Texas, in the very state that has executed more inmates than any other state in the U.S. Is it going to bring change? What are the presidential candidates saying on the issue? Stay tuned or become a member of the
Abolish The Death Penalty project to get all of the information. And more importantly: get involved!
