This is a photo of me at about seven years old, my mouth wide open in a broad, unselfconscious laugh. When I look through old family photos my mouth is often wide open in this kind of a laugh. This appears to have vanished by my adolescence. I'm sure I'm not alone in this - but why? Is it because as children we don't yet understand how many very good reasons there are for not laughing? Or are we genuinely more "feeling" creatures, in touch with an open to the flow of our emotions?
In this project's magazine you don't have to upload images of yourself as child - they can be any images of a happy person. But it would be nice to see both...
