Here's another project which could become an Amazee classic: The Kalinda childrens home in Zambia project. It aims at helping the small and poor in the Southern Zambian city of Choma by buying land and building a home and a school for shelter and education. The initiator is an organization based in the Italian part of Switzerland, the Ticino.

The children in Choma, Zambia, face the same fate many children in sub-Sahara Africa are confronted with. Many of them were either born HIV-positive or have lost their parents to the dreadful disease. So, these children need shelter, both physically and psychologically.

That's where the Kalinda Association comes in. They want to help, and they want your support: They have already bought a lot in Choma and have plans to build a school house. All you need to chip in to help is your cappuccino money for a week, the project initiators state. Seems like little sacrifice for some real impact! Image: Liv Unni Sødem, CC
