28 June 08 On the 13th September 2007 a press release was submitted announcing that Google sponsored Lunar X PRIZE and calling for participants in a competition heralded as the "space race for a new generation".

The prize purse is $30 million! The task is to create an automated spacecraft, get it to the moon, and complete various tasks whilst there.

Amazee member Flupp Wupp is stepping up to this challenge and has created a project with that very aim. The magazine already details plans and a video explaining how this will be achieved. However, the first part of the race starts here in the form of the Amazee contest. So, to be part of something out of this world, join and support this ambitious project.
