    Download day was a huge success -- so we will wait and see if there is a new world record with the release of Firefox 4... or maybe 3.5?

    YES -- they did it. The Guinness Foundation has accepted the record and Firefox/Mozilla are now officially part of the Guinness Book of World Records.

    8,002,530 downloads within 24 hours.

    I think this will be a very hard to beat record... maybe Firefox 4 will be able to do it... ;-)

    At 19:00h CET (10:00am PST) Mozilla will release the new Firefox 3. Within 24h they want to break a world record.

    Blogs say that Mozilla is calculating around 5 million downloads. We will see.
