VIdeo Game Sales and the Economy | 2

What you talkin bout, Willis?

As everone knows, the economy is in the crapper. Yet, oddly enough, video games continue to sell. One would think that people would stop purchasing them, as they are not a neccesity, however, that is not the case. At the end of 2008, the sales of video game software were added up, and the data showed that even though the economy was worse than the year before, sales were greater in 2008 than in 2007, especially for Nintendo. Why do you think people keep buying games even in this poor financial climate?

Re: What you talkin bout, Willis?

People become addicted to video games and even when the economy is down, they find a way to have the money to purchase the games.
