STARTUPCAMP RULES
The StartupCamp consists of sessions proposed and scheduled by attendees during the intro session. So at this StartupCamp all participants are encouraged to actively contribute. You can introduce your topic in one or two sentences during the intro session, if people are interested in it you will get a slot. We all have something to say about our experiences in building a business or preparing one. There will be twenty 45 minutes slots available for participants to present or facilitate a session. Looking forward to all suggestions!
SHARE
Everyone is also asked to share information and experiences of the event, both live and after, via public web channels including (but not limited to) blogging, photo sharing, social bookmarking, etc. Please use the hash tag #scs10 for Twitter and scs10 for all other media! The first StartupCamp in Switzerland took place on 31 January 2009 and brought together young and future entrepreneurs in Switzerland in the process of building or planning a business in the high-tech, Web or life-science industry. The StartupCamp 2009 was such a success that the organisation team clearly decided to organize another camp in 2010! The StartupCamp aims to transfer knowledge and know how in the relaxed atmosphere of a Barcamp and to demonstrate the various possibilities to get help on your way to becoming a successful entrepreneur. Tracks can include writing a business plan, fundraising, building the right team, startup support agencies in Switzerland, web technologies, marketing & PR and much more. The attendees learn from each other and expand their network with new interesting contacts. Thanks to all sponsors this event is free for all attendees. Stay tuned for more information!
Thanks to everybody who attended StartupCamp Switzerland 2010 this past Saturday. We hope that it was a day well spent for all of you and that you went home with many good impressions and new contacts. We would also like to thank you for all the praise we have received for organizing the event. We appreciate your love and are looking forward to your input – please feel free to leave a comment on the Wall of this project! If you'd like to keep discussing, you can do so via Twitter – make sure you use the #scs10 tag! For pictures of the Camp and the Apéro afterwards in a literally obscure wine cellar, check out this flickr pool! If you are on flickr, feel free to drop your pics there. Thumbs up to Michael and Corsin for their great shots! (Oh, and don't miss this arty shot by @knowLED!) Here's a surely incomplete collection of blog posts about and presentations from the Camp: My Swiss Chocolate (in German), Swiss Startups (also in German) and here's Corsin's entry. He has also compiled the Startups present in a nice list (nice because Amazee is on top, of course!) Daniel of La Table D'Hôte – being the gourmet he is – has interviewed Sven of My Swiss Chocolate, you can find the little clip here. This one's in Swiss German. Toni, Dorian and Patrice of Memonic have uploaded their presentation "22 random hints for startups" here. And there's even an audiofile of this here. If you are interested in picking up leads to interesting UX readings, Roland has compiled them in his Posterous niche. If you have anything to add to this list, feel free to drop a link on the Wall!

Yesterday was a great day. Thanks to all of you for making the first StartupCamp Switzerland such a success! I'll post all links to pictures and interesting blog entries to the top right section of the project magazine but could need some help from you: please contribute and post your own reviews, comments and more into the discussion forum here: http://www.amazee.com/node/3091/area

We are are expecting way over 150 attendees from all over Switzerland at tomorrow's StartupCamp. There are quite some attendees coming from Zurich and we know that an inofficial meeting point has been arranged for anybody who doesn't want to travel alone from Zurich: meet at 7.25am right in front of track 11 at Zurich main station. The train to Basel departs at 7.34am. So you have one hour time to get to know some attendees even before the Camp starts!
"Junge trotzen der Krise: Erstes StartupCamp in Basel" means young people against the crisis. Follow the link below to read the article and watch the interview: http://bazonline.ch/basel/stadt/Junge-trotzen-der-Krise-Erstes-StartupCa...

The StartupCamp is a lot about learning from others, but also a lot about networking. You have another week to check the profiles of the other attendees by clicking on their Amazee profile picture. And don't forget to use the next coffee break to update your personal Amazee profile by uploading a profile picture, adding personal information and other web profiles! You can edit your profile in the personal overview section. We are convinced that there are a lot of unmatched fits out there just waiting to be discovered ;)
