  • Why: A really sunny, feel-good song I had on repeat this year; it's about Ed listening to records with his daughter.

  • Why: All-time feel-good sing-along song.

  • Why: I fell back in love with C&C after attending their concert earlier this year. This song is about when you finally break through all the suffering, and you can see the final home stretch unfurling out in front of you. This song would often come on in the last stretch of my run and would really help me make it through to the finish.

  • Why: The first Mexican artist my CDMX friends introduced me to on a trip to the countryside outside of Mexico City.
